Fassliebe is a site-specific, tactile installation that invites viewers to cross the boundary between observing and sensing. It explores the interplay of opposites: soft versus hard, smooth versus rough, geometric versus organic. At its core lies a physical encounter—with form, with surface, and ultimately with perception itself.
The materials used are deliberately misleading. What appears soft may feel unexpectedly rigid, what seems rough reveals an unexpected smoothness. This sensory contradiction creates an intimate form of irritation—one that disrupts expectation and sharpens awareness.
