An environment designed to be entered rather than observed.
Immersio dissolves the boundary between artwork, space and audience. Suspended volumes, light, sound, scent and touch form a multisensory environment in which familiar orientation begins to disappear.
Rather than observing the installation from the outside, visitors enter and become part of it — experiencing the space through their senses while simultaneously transforming its composition.
01 — PERCEPTION
Losing orientation
sharpens perception.
Immersio begins with the loss of orientation. Suspended volumes form an unfamiliar spatial landscape, disrupting familiar perspectives and inviting the body to navigate through touch and movement.
As orientation recedes, attention shifts towards the senses. The installation creates a state in which perception becomes more conscious and the surrounding space is experienced beyond the visual alone.
02 — THE SENSES
Space experienced
beyond the visual.
Light, projection, sound, scent and touch create continuously changing sensory conditions. Projected patterns transform the perception of the suspended forms, while mist carries scent through the space and sound adds another layer of orientation and atmosphere.
Rather than functioning as separate effects, these elements work together to heighten sensory awareness and draw attention towards the immediate experience of the space.
02 — IMMERSION
The visitor becomes part
of the composition.
Immersio is not a static sculpture. Movement and touch displace the suspended volumes, continuously altering its spatial composition.
Each passage creates a different configuration. By entering the installation, the visitor becomes part of its making — experiencing the space while simultaneously transforming it.
The installation becomes a living spatial process — continually reshaped through its audience.
04 — PRESENCE
A moment outside
the perception of time.
As orientation fades and attention shifts towards the senses, Immersio seeks to bring perception back to the present moment.
Touch, sound, scent, light and movement draw awareness towards what is happening here and now. For a moment, the perception of before and after begins to recede — creating a state of immersion in which time itself seems to dissolve.
